台北的家庭主婦陳淑娟女士是盡責的好媽媽，但是她的生活中累積了許多獨自等待的時刻：在大學聯考的會場帶著便當等待孩子午休、深夜等著給補習回來繼續念書的孩子做宵夜、在繁忙的機車陣中等待先生來接……這些她投身於家庭後的等待與懸置，是社會期待加諸在她身上的魔幻時刻，期望以這些時光來換取家庭的前進與幸福。

Hours pass in Taipei. A middle-age women Shu-Chuan has her normal days in the capital city of the small island Taiwan. She has beliefs, goals and affections but she is still moving from where she was and what she saw in the global cities of tomorrow.
