Mirikitani(ミリキタニ、三力谷)是個80歲的日裔流浪漢，窩在美國紐約市一角畫畫賺錢。他愛畫貓咪、柿子和鯉魚，由於色彩鮮豔，畫風獨特，吸引紀錄片導演琳達的注意。其微妙情誼因為911恐怖攻擊而發酵。從此，Mirikitani的命運扭轉，朝向你意想不到的方向去。

From Tokyo, Hiroshima and New York, this film is a journey into the previously unknown past of Jimmy Mirikitani. It reveals significant details about Jimmy's life prior to the filming of THE CATS OF MIRIKITANI in 2001.
After THE CATS OF MIRIKITANI began screening, people who knew Jimmy came forward, and many new facts came to light. The anecdotes they share, while often comical, provide deep insights into Jimmy. This film is a small companion piece to THE CATS OF MIRIKITANI following that film’s ten-year anniversary. It is also a memorial film for Jimmy who passed away in 2012.
