自從母親離家出走後，小慧跟著父親大偉一起生活。面對大偉的高壓管控，小慧總會息事寧人地退讓，兩人關係唇齒相依，卻又如履薄冰。大偉因爲工地意外弄傷了腳，為了獲得救助金，刻意在社工馮小姐面前隱瞞了康復的進度，雖然社工家訪結束了，然而父女間的風暴，才正要來臨。
