Sunday, at the South-East Asian entertainment complex First Square in Taichung, two Filipinos, Jane, a domestic caregiver, and Randy, a factory worker, make acquaintance. In the precious hours of their day off, together, the two companions in foreign land spend a lovely Sunday.

一位中年人再次經歷了年少回憶，放下了對亡妻的虧欠。出獄後的正南回到獨自一人的生活，他陷入了對亡妻的思念與虧欠。在回到家鄉的路上，回憶從心裡湧上。他遇到了一對男女，與這對男女相處的過程，彷彿遇到了年輕時的自己與妻子，回到了天真浪漫的那一天，正南似乎再次經歷了過去，重新思索自己的人生。
A middle-aged man once again experienced his youth and finally got rid of the thought that he should have treated his deceased wife better. Cheng-Nan lived alone after released from prison. However, he missed his deceased wife a lot and for whom he was consumed with remorse. The memories of Cheng-Nan’s youth came flooding back when he was on his way back home, where he encountered a young couple. While Cheng-Nan was getting along with them, he felt that he met the “young himself” and his wife, as if he went back to the day when he prepared the surprise for his wife. Cheng-Nan seemed to experience the past once again, and rethought about his life.

2025年，能源轉型跳票，反倒更為依賴燃煤發電，偏頗的經濟發展導致貧富差距極大化，年輕人就業不易，自殺時有所聞 ; 政府為了挽救年輕人，推行了「第二人生」方案，補助鼓勵仍正向面對人生的年輕人，只要在30歲以前提供政府一百萬元，政府五年後將返還一千萬元，但，首先你要有一百萬。失業僅靠回收生活的天保，靈機一動，決定將所有的積蓄投入一張保單，千萬靠自己。
In 2025, due to the failure of the government’s policy of energy transition, the need of coal-fired power was comparatively increasing; what’s worse, this situation gave rise of the severity of social inequality. Therefore, most young people couldn’t find jobs, and the news of commending suicide was not that difficult to heard at that time, either. Eagerly trying to save this generation, the government implemented a plan called “the Second Chance of Life”. It encouraged those young men who has positive attitude toward their lives- even it was in such bad time- by providing him/her NT$10,000,000, if he/she had given government NT$1000,000 5 years ago. And yes, those young people should not only have positive attitude, what’s more important, a sum of NT$1000,000! TianBou, who made living by garbage sorting and recycling, once heard about this, he decided to give himself “the Second Chance of Life”…
